I have been all around to many places especially around region III. Whenever I travel, my backpack and a spare bag will do the job for me. In this blog, I will share you what I do whenever I travel.

1.)
More weight means you'll get tired and exhausted easily -
as much as possible I avoid carrying unnecessary things that may cause you to easily get exhausted especially when I have a very long trip because you don't want to experience body aches because of carrying heavy bags. Travelling is meant to be comfortable with the things you only need, just bring all the necessary things you may possibly need rather than carrying too much things you'll end up not going to use. I usually just usually bring power bank, baby wipes, alcohol, 3 sets of shirt, 4 sets underwear, 3 sets of pants or jeans, flip flops 4 sets of handkerchief and an oral care travel kit. So basically if I ever buy something, I still have enough space to fit it inside my backpack.

2.)
Always carry an extra bag -
Your dirty clothes and garbage should be separated from your clean clothes to avoid them from getting dirty and stinky. This spare bag may also be used if ever you decide to buy a few more sourvenirs which will no longer fit your backpack or if you decide to buy something bulky which requires a bag to fit in to take home.

3.)
Don't bring too much money -
you do not have to bring big amounts of cash in your wallet because you may only want to pay for something you will use during the entire trip or when buying sourvenirs and when paying the hotel room. As much as possible try to practice using cashless payment method to avoid physical contact with people, you may find some stores and shops that accepts online payment, me personally I frequently use my Gcash application to pay my online shopping orders and whenever I order food. Cashless is fun because it's fast and easy.

4.)
Be observant -
Pay attention on how people behave and what they do, this will indicate their culture that you need to understand and respect their practices as a visitor. If you find yourself socializing with them, do not brought up or do anything that may offend them and their culture, we need to understand the diversity each one of us has different beliefs and culture. If possible to remain quiet, do it so.
5.)
Do not take something from the nature other than picture -
one best form preserving our memories is through taking of pictures, this will allow us to see and get back in time when we are doing our trips. Avoid doing sand collection because this can slowly degrade the ecological environment of the place especially that there other visitors and tourist that visits the place. Sourvenirs shops can provide you some memorable items you can buy from the local place.
As a tourist and a visitor, we must always be responsible and smart of what we do. Every action we make corresponds to a consequence which could be good or bad. In this time of pandemic, let us still maintain social distancing and good hygiene practice to ensure the safety of us, families and the people around us. Just bring all the necessary things you need and the right money and you're good to go. Remember that we should give respect to people and the place we are going to. That's all for this blog. I hope this helped you all on how to become a responsible tourists/visitors and my tips to what to bring when you have an upcoming trip. I wish you all a safe trip and God Bless Us All!
