Manila Zoo, That is right! this famous tourist attraction in NCR to be specific in Manila. During these time, it is actually the second time I've visited this zoo, first when I was in Forth Grade way back 2011 and the photos that you are all about to see were captured by me from my old phone. I remember this place to have variety of caged-wildlife animals as well as free animals that roams the zoo, usually these are trained birds and I was surprised that there was a hanging bearcat on the entrance greeting us.
Prepare your umbrellas because you don't want to get yourself covered in birds' poo, yikes! But it is part of the fun because you'll be exposed to wild animals up-close and appreciate their way of living even though majority of them are caged. Also, you may wanna cover your nose with your handkerchief because this will let you have the experience of how nature smells like especially when bird poop is all around and the cages are cleaned not often, so, you would expect that the smell is kinda stinky.
Inside the zoo you won't have to worry of carrying too much food because there are vendors inside that caters most of the food that you can eat while walking around. Few souvenir shops are also found there to where you can buy shirts and other animal stuffs as a remembrance. There are some stalls located beside the souvenir shops where you will pay and have photos with animals like snakes, monkeys, horses, birds and other animals.

I was just sad the last time I went there because Mali is not around anymore, he is the only elephant in the zoo, way back 2011 some people were feeding him and I saw that he likes being around with people. Nevertheless, this zoo brought back the memories that I would never experience again.
Overall, the zoo itself is decent, you will really enjoy it if you love animals and nature. The pricing of food and souvenirs are not too expensive, so, it is okay not to bring big money. Prepare yourself an extra shirt or clothes because you don't expect what you may encounter with, do not forget the umbrella and handkerchief. Most of the place is good for taking photos, so, if you like taking photos especially with animals, then, it is a place to go.
Here are some photos that I recovered.
